This seems to be problematic with all custom ROMs. I don't remember if it did it with the stock ROM or not...mostly because the stock ROM was so slow I probably couldn't tell :protest:

The stock ROM was out of control with landscape lag!!!!

It had all kinds of lag....that's why I changed as soon as someone (YOU) put out a ROM for us! I don't remember how slow it was in landscape...just remember that it was slow all around.

Scott,

Am using your ROM. Love it, but do have two issues. One is the duplicate text. Will try the hard reset this evening. The other is I can't turn off the phone. The Power Off button will only turn off the display no matter what I do. Anyone else experiencing this?

I installed this .cab file to fix the issue. It does remove ShutXP, but it will let you power off your device again. This was posted in a previous thread, i did not make this.

Had the same issues - ssk 1.2 - deluxe rom...I HAD to hard reset to clear the texting issue (memory - clear storage). The power button - same issue even after hard reset. Anyone else?

First time flashing and nothing else but good things to say!

Edit - just read the previous post by HackerSG about the powering down...will give it a try and report.

Scott's Normal Power Button.cab fixes the power issue.

I had the same issue with all SSK releases and i just install that .cab (I think scott provided it in a previous forum) and it fixes the issue. I rarely soft reset, so not having ShutXP isn't a big deal.

If anyone knows of a better fix let me know.
