Is there any way to get the GPS intermediate driver working on a previous version of your ROM without having to update to the 1.5 version? I'm still running your VZNav 3.0 ROM and I'm happy with it, not sure if I want to update unless I have to...

I really want the GPS ID to work so that I can finally use GPSToday!

Any advice would be appreciated!

Actually... Maybe... I could try and CAB up the drivers but windows normally doesnt like that. So I would say no off the top of my head.

But yes, having GPS ID drivers working (thanks to GC) is AWESOME. No more fiddling around wiht program settings. Just flash and go!

Has anyone messed with aGPS yet on VZW and the 1.5b2 rom?

I was able to reproduce the phone not ringing (couldn't tell you how) but was still able to get the audible alerts for SMS, email, MMS and the alarm. Once I got to this point I could not get the ring tones to come back. I tried re-flashing, hard resets, 1.5b1, 1.4, 1.2, etc. Finally went back to 3.0 and got it to work. After getting it to work on 3.0 I came back to 1.5b2 and the ring still works. No issues noted so far.

Looking forward to the release of the kitchen tonight!

Hopefully start uploading it when I get home and then you guys can take it for a while.

I will also include the 20764 files and the Wm6.5 files so it will have that interopability that I have been promising. It will also have a couple more carriers.

IM still debating on which OEM pack to use. Every likes SSK 1.2 but I think the 1.4 and 1.5 OEM's are better. I may just take the OEM's back down to scratch. Whenever I try to part them aout real far crazy **** happens like the alledged ringer issues, etc.

Eitherway.... Talk to you guys when I get home.

Wouldn't ring for me till I went in and selected a ring tone...

I am liking the 1.5b2....after getting my ringer issue resolved! It seems a bit faster (could be a placebo effect or maybe my memory is fading) than the previous versions. Battery life seems the same. I would like to see one based on 1.5b2....but maybe spend a small amount of time on the issues reported!

What do you mean which pack. I thought the kitchen OEM section was just a bunch of individual folders for different apps where you just put a checkmark in the boxes of the ones you want. Seems like that list could include them all. When you say "Pack", I read that as A, B, C, D are grouped together as "Pack 1", E, F, G are Pack 2 etc. Am I reading "Pack" wrong?

There you go, thats the typoe of guidance I am looking for!

I think I am going to take the fresh OEM split and just part out a ocuple things this time. Make it more like 1.2 but add the updated modules from 1.5. Giving too many default selctions also makes it not so Simple any more. So yeah, I will rework the OEM pack test it out then post it. I will call it RC1. I will post all three kitchens but just do a single standard ROM off each. So you will have three ROM's with the same selections to try as well as the matching kitchen.

Hows that sound?

Does this mean that the "Bored" fix is eliminated (for those that already have it), "tweaked a little", or just added to. If you have problems, can the Bored fix be reapplied?

Not sure if someone posted this, regarding the issue with Opera opening and closing on it's own. I think I know how to fix it.

Open up the registry and go to: \HKCU\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\Apps

Delete the Opera9 folder.

Reboot.

See if that fixes it :)

Will these be betas or final versions? If you could give a brief description of the differences between the 3 ROMs when you post them, that would be great. Not so much a high-level description of XIPs etc, but dumbed down to my level... i.e. What operating differences I'll see or experience with each of the three ROMs.

I've held off from using the betas due to the reported ring issue but I'm looking forward to being able to flash again.
