I would absolutely prefer a kitchen over youtube. You can always watch youtube on skyfire, a kitchen is a must

You probably son't have GPS running or Google doesn't have a sat lock..

In Google, go to Menu/Start GPS

im running into the same problem with 1.4

when I run GPS Tools and do the test, I can get 10-12 sats, but I can never get google maps to use/see any of them.

I've set google maps to both Windows Managed and Com 4/4800

I've set google maps to both Windows Managed and Com 4/4800

in HTC Tool, do the satellites show as Locked

Google settings should be for Manual settings/Com4/4800 Baud
Then in the Main menu, clic on "USE GPS)
