Ok, work is going good on the kitchen. I decided to back up to the OEM pack in 1.2 as it did pose the least problems. None really at all to conmplain about or repeatable. I then upgraded the XIP to the 21109 with Encryption by Palm OS. THen I upgraded the GPS drivers from the GC kitchen. I am testing that now. If all is well I dont see why I cant put it up in a couple hour to few hours. Going to go test now.

Well, the kitchn is final complete. I think it came out pretty damn good.

Now the next step is to upload the ROM, upload the kitchen, and then post new thread when complete.

The upload will take quite some time. I am going to bed now. I will be up early AM to check on them and update the thread. I have to bring a buddy to school tommorow.

Its pretty solid. I think every can agree that 1.2 was the most solid ROM. Well, I re-based the 1.2 OEM's and upgraded / changed hardly antying at all. Always seems to go much smoother when you dont start parting things out so much. I did however upgrade the XIP to match the CE OS so they bouth show up as 21109 and it has SD card encryptiopn.

The GPS drivers were upgraded to the same ones the last beta had which means VZW users will now use GPS pretty much like the rest of the world if they have applied the lllboredlll GPS fix and my ROM. We will not however be ablet o sue VZ NAvigator witht his ROM. I am looking into how to resolve that for possible future releases. Sprint users should enjoy your GPS as usual.

Sorry for the false hopes but I think it was worth the wait.
