1.5 Beta 2 Thoughts:

Why S2u2???? I think that the Black/White Slide to Answer/Ignore is way better the S2u2.

Seems little slugish also comared to beta 1 in my eyes.

Also with the not always playing sound events on txt and phone calls. Is that issue on your list it seems its been following in the last couple beta builds and i noticed someone else having sam eisssue.

Other then that im glad its almost complete for next release. Do you plan on post support for alltel TP's? Your roms work on them and only need 1 setting changed to full work.

I always do a hard reset. It only occurred once but weird cus it went bananas on me eh. Well everything is fine. also notice a small glitch when incoming calls kick in .The s2u2 looks like the culprit. It just blur/freeze for a sec while incoming calls comes in then i can answer. Also notice that the new rom likes :spam1: mmmmm.

I am downloading SSK 1.5 Beta 2 now. I can't wait to load it up. With regard to the issue of Kitchen vs YouTube, my preference would be to get the Kitchen up (salivate, drool!!) and leave the YouTube application as the next step.

Scott - I have been running the hybrid SSK 1.2 kitchen cooked ROM with FormerPalm's 2E XIP (OS 21109/build 21109), all day today. I have really been putting it through it's paces, and so far am very happy with it! Everything works great as far as I have seen. Speed is great, and I havent had to soft reset all day. I have more free RAM than I've ever had. Youtube works. Call ignoring works. Notfications work. I havent run into any of the issues people are posting about the 1.5 beta.

I may not even bother flashing again once 1.5 kitchen comes out :)

Oh and I am still running the rom with the restored backup from SPB backup (originally backed up from the standard SSK 1.2 kitchen made rom). No funkiness.

I'm loving it!

Ok so this ROM has a little too much for my taste. I like the stripped down version like you Scrosler. But this beta seems to be going better than the preview beta. But one question. In these betas it seems that the TF3D Album tab doesn't display all the photos lie previous versions did. Any one have a fix for this?

Oh one more thing. You did set the Registry setting and it seems to be working well. Thanks Scott.

Well I figured out my Album issue. I had to change the Save location back to the default through the Advanced Config program.

does any of you guys use lumos backlight control?
i noticed for some reason the sensor is not as sensitive...
in my office i usually get about 50, now it only gets up to 20...

any feedback is appreciated...thanks!
