Re: [April 25th, 2009] (((((MightyROM5))))) Windows Phone® 21501 Build 21501
Same here.. Sent myself 14 text messages to start testing the sounds... The 1st Text message received, and sent back are all screwey.. Then after that all subsequent messages are totally fine. It starts out in each new thread started by a new text message from someone else. This is without any customizations or apps installed. This is with a straight flash/ hard reset. I haven't installed ANYthing yet. I simply reprogrammed the phone using *228 and activesynced the phone. Thats it.. Nothing else installed. I'm going to do that now !!! hehe... I want to personally thank Mighty Mike for doing this for us. Providing the fixes, and dealing with everything. I really do appreciate it. I'm going to test the crap out of this update today. Hopefully the sounds continue to work. Also thank you so much for putting Voice Command back into the Rom. I use that non stop.

Yes, I read a good point, Should I flash the update, although MR5 is running without those original issues...
Also, anyone flashed to a higher pagepool as well. And if so. What is the outcome. **EDIT** No need to wait. I am flashing now on 24MB pagepool. I will report any +/- differences. Hope all goes well. *Steve's server was blazing fast. Almost 2mb/sec D/L speed. oh wait its 9:45AM on Saturday. lol. Thanks all.

My phone corrupted itself and my storage card last night while it was charging at some point, and I'm not at my home computer where everything's downloaded--it seems LilRico's templates are returning 404's right now. Figured I'd post as an FYI. And I don't know what this "server #3" is.

Re: [April 25th, 2009] (((((MightyROM5))))) Windows Phone® 21501 Build 21501
Well, I wasn't complaining that much--the ROM (MightyROM 5) is still working--it seems it hard reset itself this morning, though, so I need to reinstall the LilRico pack. All the GPS fixes I did are still in effect--Google Maps works.
When I said corrupted, I mean, it messed up my 8 GB microSD card. It wouldn't show as being installed. Then when I attached the card to my computer, it said it was unformatted, so I had to format it again. Nothing on the phone is messed up. The phone was asleep and charging. I hooked it up to the charger when it gave me the "I'm turning off all your connections, because the battery is about to die" mesage. I turned back on the phone and data connections when I hooked up the power, and then went to sleep. I woke up and it was off. When I pressed the power button, it vibrated (turned on) and then gave me the calibration and alightment page. So it had hard reset when I turned it on. It's not a big deal to me, but I guess you're interested. I'll answer anything else you've got. Thanks for your interest. |
