So is the start menu installed by default? What is it exactly? Is it different from the TF3D1 programs tab?

I'm not using that CAB and it sticks for me too as long as I set it in control panel, not under world clock, and NEVER TOUCH WORLD CLOCK.

It looks nearly identical, but now it's brought up by the Start button instead of from a tab, and it has a LOT more scrolling space for pinning common apps. It's much better.

The new start button basically links you to a screen that looks like the programs tab from TF3D1. I find it a PITA because if you don't have a particular program favorited, you have to scroll thru the entire singular list of programs, if the program you happen to want starts with a high up letter in the alphabet.

I find the old Start|Programs much quicker access to all programs.

How is it faster? If pinned, which is easier now, it's as accessible as you want it to be. Otherwise the old Programs section was alphabetical as well, just with three to a row. But it scrolled much more slowly, which cancels out most, if not all, of that benefit. The new system seems like a definite improvement to me. I avoided the old Programs menu as much as I could.

so is TF3D 2 BETA2 more stable? like more workable like i wont have to reflash to 4.15 regular version? lol

i like the beta but ill stick with 4.15 for now. till a full release comes out

Sorry But mine when I hit the start button like I said before does not bring up the program tab. It is like the old start with settings and all. I will try the cab. Thanks!!
