Thanks man! So all I would need to do is edit that .txt file and when I flash it will automatically install them?

Also, where is the SDcofnig.txt file on the root of the card?

I do not use PimBackup cause I sync with Exchange. My phone is off... and people are still getting text messages from the last 2 days all resent... numerous times!.. One buddy is up to 18.

JUst edit those and you should be all set put your info I did the rest for you..

Then rename it to .xml and insert it in your SDConfig.txt

Thanks a lot... I tried but had to make couple of changes as the file did not work as it is...

What I changed was
POP server: pop3.live.com
SMTP server: smtp.live.com

I am attaching the file that is working - just change emial addy / pwd etc.


However after having gone through the pains I found that Hotmail works the best when I use the inbuilt Outlook settings in PocketOutlook, i.e, creatuing account manually.

I believe it's because Hotmal works better with DeltaSyn than POP3...

But it was good to know I can use SDAutoConfig, even though I might not use it that much...

SDConfig doesn't exist by default. You'll have to create one. Also, you'll notice I used a folder called AutoInstall. The reason I did it that was is because SDAutoRun doesn't really like spaces. Be sure the cabs you are installing have spaces removed in the file names as well.

What about a "space" for "storage card" would that be a problem?

How does the rom that you're installing know to check in for the sdconfig.txt file? I dont have to alter anything else like an xml file or any of that?

Any ROM that is UC compliant will check for it and use it. The space in storage card is fine. Try to eliminate all others.

CAB: \Stor... <--also notice the space between : and \ this is needed

Try and do it similar to how I did it and you wont have a problem. Also be sure everything is spelled right. If you have a typo or filling file, it will choke.

This rom seems to freeze often for a few seconds and sometimes requires a soft reset. I have never had this problem with the other mightrom roms last one i used was 4.12 and it is the most stable I have ever used.

Also on 4.14 when you open a contact and select txt to send a message it does not work at all.

i appreciate that mike and gang are doing and look forward to flash many more times his superior creations.
