Advice/Warning : If you are testing the SmartPhoneTracker o not check 'run in background' if you didn't get the settings work fine for you, you won't have any way of going back and fixing as the program will keep running only in the background... just my 2 cents, I am doing hard reset to get it back to show up and let me fix teh settings.

I am not sure how would it be able to send any emails in case somone does a hard reset as all email settings would be lost. I think the only option would be to get an SMS nsent back to sender or another phone number..

Of course I would love to know if there is a UC way / another way to get my email account setup automatically on hard reset.

actually I did that, and couldn't re enter the setup...
but what i did, not to redo my setup and reflash... go back into folder,, change the settings.ini file or delete it, i renamed it, soft reset, and when u to the file again smartphonetracker, it will setup new again...

yes there is via uc, but sms is your best option. and you dont need to hard reset if your testing smart phone tracker just delete settings.ini

when your all configured you should

configure smart tracker then browse to program files\smartphonetracker then copy the settings.ini to a folder on your sd card for examples sake we will create a folder called cabs so copy that file to the cabs folder on your sd card

create a text file called sdconfig.txt in the root of your sd card with this command

LOCK:Enabled
CPY1: \Storage Card\Cabs\settings.ini
CPY2: \Program Files\SmartPhoneTracker\settings.ini
RST: Reset

this will copy it from your storage card to the device. Whats gonna happen is its gonna lock the phone so they cant input any thing...copy the file then reset the phone.
you can set your own paths, but thats how mine is set up

this will allow uc to copy over the settings file just incase some one does hard reset your phone... a phone lock is always good to im going to use s2u2 the new one that just came out

If someone actually steal your phone, I would think they are not smart enough to know to do hard reset if your phone is not lock. If it is not lock and they can make phone call, why they bother to do anything with it. They will probably just try to make as much free phone call as they can before you report the phone lost. Or just eBay off the phone without even using it. Probably has enough time to track the phone for one day before the battery ran out since they likely won't recharge it and constantly on the phone to make free call.
And if they are smart enough to do hard reset, they probably know enough to flash the phone with new ROM. Most people don't even know how to do hard reset until they flash with new ROM and it require them to hard reset to make the phone stable. For people that don't flash with new ROM, I bet most (if not all) don't know how to hard reset.

4.12 Is what's the latest and it will be for a while.

I hope so! Time to actually use the phone for its intended purpose for a while. Although if they get the TP2 and HD TF3D and other apps ported over reliably I'll be ready for another flash.

Since I have installed this rom, it is not showing my storage card in file explorer. I have hard-reset without the card installed, then soft-reset with the card in, and still no go.

The "Long Press End to Lock" feature isn't working reliably for me on either 4.11 or 4.12.

Anybody have any ideas?
