Re: [March 25th, 2009] "One Rom To Rule Them All..." MIGHTYROM 4.16 [20771] [UC] [24M
Problem just popped up on me today and I have searched but can;t find anything.
When I touch my side volume buttons the volume control does not open and my phone slows down. I have not changed anything today, but this started happening today. I am running 4.16 and I have the TS Owen taskbar from post #1 as well as the Rhodium notification enhancements. Help is appreciated.

searched through already, no solution?
typing a whole message, then say if i had to us the fn key to type an apostrophe, as the message is still typing - a character or two gets changed to a number. not double tapping the fn key. has this already been addressed? i'm just getting a little annoyed that i type out a whole message then it has numbers. |

I have been having this same problem. It seems to be related to text typing lag. (which has seemed to be getting worse on my TP...) I have yet to find a fix...
Essentially it seems the phone is "behind" in displaying the letters of the message, but pressing the Fn key activates in real time. So, if I were to type "This is a test message that's messed up" when I pressed the Fn key to write the apostrophe in "that's" wherever the text on screen has reached, the next character would be the Fn version of that letter. Maybe the screen had caught up to "This is a text messag" the "e" would be typed as a euro symbol. Hope that made some form of sense... Quote:

Is this still needed with Mike's ROMs?

I also tried Garmin Mobile which I know works (it has on previous 6800 and the demo Touch Pro before I got my own). It finds COM4 but shows absolutely no activity when searching for satellites. Perhaps another flash? .. but .. as I always come back to mighty, this is approx the 5th load of 4.16....All done the same way. When trying Juicy 6, the GPS worked, so I can assume from this that it is not a hardware issue. Do I need to load llbored GPS fix? Last edited by orcat; 04-01-2009 at 07:37 PM. |
