if u enable the security lock feature, make sure u setup the time limit..
I once accidently left it on 0 minutes...
I had to hard reset my phone, cause it didn't let me in... 0 minutes...

First post... sorry in advance if i got something wrong...

Google's Latitude service for Maps will only update my location if it is the active window. It will not update if i leave maps running or if i opt to update my location when closing google maps.

otherwise it works brilliantly. Some people complain about the update intervals, but it seems to guess based on activity... if im moving in a car for examplle, it keeps up in real time.

this problem existed for me on the factory rom, as welll as this one.

this rom rocks... thank you so much for making this phone everything i thought it should be... and beyond.

Yes tried this. It helps. However sometimes it will stop me from being able to sync email. Or the security lock come back from the dead even with the Zenyee hack.

"I Use S2U2 1.50 with Device Lock And I add it to the start up folder in windows so every time my phone goes on idle and restarts i have to enter a password

Way Better then WM Version"

I will give this a try.

"if u enable the security lock feature, make sure u setup the time limit..

It's set to 5 minutes.

As I understand these are work arounds you guys have nicely provided. But im wondering what is different on Mighty rom that cause the issue to happen. Maybe mighty you could test this out the device lock and see if you experience the same and find a solution. Thanks all.

on your phone it will update in real time but to one of your contacts it will only update like every 10 minutes, at least thats how it works for me

I have the same question... It would be nice for it to continue to update after closing the app window. Any way this can be done???

The only way I was able to get in, was hard reset...
that is if u left it at 0 minutes.. I then changed it to 12 hours, so everytime u restart ur phone it would ask for the id...
I stopped using the lock feature...
Maybe someone else has better knowledge of this.

Mike,

After much deliberation I finally took the dive and flash my phone (or to be more accurate, my wife's phone...god help me if I mess up). Fortunately, it worked out great and man am I happy to have gotten rid of all the Bell Crap.

First impressions, everything looks good. All the basic functions are working, phone, text, email and GPS. Performance is so much better then the stock ROM (which sucks...big time). The wife had really been complaining about how slow the phone was, so maybe now I'll be able to sleep better. Boot time is amazingly fast now that all the carrier embedded wait times have been tweaked.

Still have alot more testing including wifi and bluetooth, but based on what I seen so far I'm not worried. This ROM is awesome, thanks.
