I tried in Opera and it was a no go, so I fired up PIE and bam right away. I went back later and tired to get it to run in Opera again and success, but still nowhere near as fast as PIE.

Just keep messing around with it. It seems like it's hit or miss for me, so it could end up working for you. Soft reset and try again. If not just try periodically.

I've got some issues with 4.13. The screen always dims after a minute, even though all my brightness settings are set to never dim in any mode.
