Still no fix for this, unfortunately... Which sucks! I can't use the ROM until it gets fixed... Only, mine lags for a good 5 minutes or more, sometimes... Most of my saved conversations are large

Is anyone else having problems with SMS? My received texts are being "received" an hour to two hours late, sporadically. Sometimes, I'll receive text messages a day or two late. Other times, text messaging is snappy and almost immediate.
Unfortunately, this only happens with MR6.
Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this, or what I can do to resolve this issue?

i just deleted all of my 3k texts last week before i flashed to MR 6. guess i'll have to try other roms until it's fixed or go back to 4.16

How do I flash back to stock?

MR6 is great but it's a bit buggy on my phone: some programs won't install, alarm doesn't work, takes forever to charge, locks the phone up frequently, and some programs just run very sluggish..

The attached cab really sped up my SMS. It removes the counter which seemed to slow it down a bunch. Don't know where I got it to give credit, sorry.

I also have, what I think is, the newest Sprint specific Arcsoft cab. I'll attach it also. If you're Sprint, try it. If I remember correctly you have to remove any previously installed sms before installing it. (attached cab)

Again, sorry for not giving credit or providing the thread link, but I just don't remember.

sounds like you didn't do a hard reset after flashing.
