It seems to require a long enough session for the phone to get hot, I'd say. If I don't tether, I never have a keyboard problem.

Just want to add, too, that quick tethering like you tried never broke the keyboard, either.

I really don't think this is hardware as it has never happened until I started tethering a lot, which was recently.
Is your device overheating ? My device overheats with extended tethering (About 45 minutes or so with multiple devices connected) and causes it not to charge and other oddities. After it cools down everything comes back to life and works properly.

So the question is, Does the keyboard come back to life after you stop tethering for a while ? That would definitely be a indicator that the device is shutting down processes because of the heat.

If you plan to do extended tethering, what I found helps is taking the back cover off and putting a small fan on faced at the device..

Re: MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com [Windows Phone® 6.5] [Final]

Well maybe it was the heat, but after pushing hard on my spacebar thinking it was good old fashioned ribbon cable failure, I seem to have caused good old fashioned ribbon cable failure. Not totally but it has definitely, without a doubt, started to exhibit the signs. Bending the keyboard down at the edges and up in the middle, underneath the space bar, brings it back to life. Maybe I hurt it, maybe I didn't, but it is hurt nonetheless. This is my first TP and I'm kinda bummed, especially in light of the TP2. I've had it since late March I guess.

Any comment on why the cab file triggers the BT headset announcements but the rolled in version you your previous ROM did not?

Again, thanks for all of your and Lil'Ricos efforts. They are greatly appreciated. Hope we end up on the same G4 devices!
It is a setting that you can change. Start the voice commander and set it not annouce phone calls via the bluetooth headset.
