The radio is a firmware on a seperate chip in the phone while the ROM is just the OS. Two different systems. Like a BIOS and a OS.

Is anyone else having a problem with the most recent version and the alarm? I have my phone on vibrate.... I check the option to "Enable Sounds for Notifcations (alarms, reminders)". I set my alarm, but it only vibrates.

Before i flashed up to 6.5 this always worked (the alarm would sound while in vibrate mode), and I used this alarm to wake me up in the mornings... Now it's not functioning....

Just wondering if there is something simple i'm missing, or if this is a bug...

Yes there is a problem with the alarm, I set it but it only works with 1 sound file, I cant change it or nothing,.. I installed Galarm for now, till hopefully the next flash... hopefully it will be fix... happens every now and then,,

so.. the gps does not work and the sym key on the keyboard does nothing with this ROM.. anyone else? or is it just my phone?

You have to install one of the EZ inputs keyboards here to get the keyboard SYM key working again

Have yet to test GPS, but haven't heard anything indicating it doesn't work.

As for the SYM key...scroll through the last few pages. You need to install EzInput and Soft Reset and you'll be in business.

hey yall i did search but maybe you could help me or point me in the right direction

how do i permanently shut data off?

For example. when im at home i dont need data. but since i have an AIRAVE if my data turns on my phone dies so quick its rediculous.

i turn my phone on at 9am and with me using it all day it will last till 7 or 8pm at night so when i get home i switch the battery to a fully charged one and by 11pm its at 20% and i look at it and its had a data connection for 2 freakin hours and i havent been doing anything but texting. and thats only like 20 texts total....

while im at work im on my phone all day..

so im basically looking for an application that i can run or click that will stop data from turning on. thanks in advanced.
