Here is were I have mine. \EXT\Touch_Pro\Common ( Leave the file structure as it is when un rared/unzipped ) So you would have something like EXT\Touch_Pro\Common\030_Manila_2_5_2012_VGA All subfolders for that should still be inside that directory. Internet, Music, Mail, Message and so on. It doesn't matter if the main folder says 010 020 030 or whatever. They are numbered that way to keep them in the order they need to be to work. VGA to over write WGVA where it needs to. If you put them in the wrong order WVGA could over write VGA and that will not work. You can rename them to anything you want but keep in mind the order they need to be in your kitchen. Hope that helps. |

There is nothing in the kitchen by default that has the numbered folder structure. But it definatly supports it... Follow rootlinux instructions or the instuctions in the thread with the way to locate the folders. I used to just overwrite the wvga files with the vga ported ones and put the folders into the ext/shared folder. Which kind of got confusing.. I placed them in the kitchen like in the directions this time and it makes its own category in the kitchen. Really helpful to make sure everything is there. Manila 2.5 with landscape is sexy as hell....It was totally a surprise when I seen the port in that thread with the full 1921 port... Needless to say I flashed right away while my girl was still sleeping...lol... Only thing I havent gotten to work is the Audio Manager... He has it working in his screenshots but says it is not signed by a trusted certificate when I try to run it on my phone... Ive tried both the 2011 and 1921 versions but neither work... Not a big deal for me though I hardly ever use it on my phone... Too busy playing Monopoly or Tiger Woods 09 when I am waiting for something to do. |

Re: [ 11-10 ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROMs
I put together a 2011 pack with 2012 Stock tab and added Comm Manager and my rom is near perfect.
Everything is working great. |

Re: [ 11-10 ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROMs
I am having a slight problem with adding my own settings. I do not quite understand the processing order of the files. I have tried adding my own provxml and had to edit the config_operator file to process the XML. I would like to not need another XML file and just add my info to an existing XML.
I would like to add this: Code:
<characteristic type="HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{EF097F4C-DC4B-4c98-8FF6-AEF805DC0E8E}\null-corp-{1F994B49-C056-4503-99B0-37247BCC80F7}" translation="filesystem"> <parm name="ConnectionGUID" datatype="string" value="{C1FB4B75-CBDF-4666-C09C-48793A76209A}"/> <parm name="DestId" datatype="string" value="{A1182988-0D73-439E-87AD-2A5B369F808B}"/> <parm name="Enable" datatype="integer" value="1"/> <parm name="ExtraInfo" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="Override" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="Proxy" datatype="string" value="new-corp:1118"/> <parm name="ReadOnly" datatype="integer" value="0"/> <parm name="SrcId" datatype="string" value="{1F994B49-C056-4503-99B0-37247BCC80F7}"/> <parm name="Type" datatype="integer" value="0"/> <parm name="Username" datatype="string" value=""/> </characteristic> <characteristic type="HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{EF097F4C-DC4B-4c98-8FF6-AEF805DC0E8E}\null-corp-{18AD9FBD-F716-ACB6-FD8A-1965DB95B814}" translation="filesystem"> <parm name="ConnectionGUID" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="DestId" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="Enable" datatype="integer" value=""/> <parm name="ExtraInfo" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="Override" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="Proxy" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="ReadOnly" datatype="integer" value=""/> <parm name="SrcId" datatype="string" value=""/> <parm name="Type" datatype="integer" value=""/> <parm name="Username" datatype="string" value=""/> </characteristic> |

Looks like the link for TMartin's kitchen update ( from page 668 ) is dead. Anyone knows where to get it?

Re: [ 11-10 ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROMs
My FTP space is being moved so it might be awhile. I might make a new thread for my version on Calk's kitchen with 21892 and M2.5.2012. I'll keep you guys posted.

Re: [ 11-10 ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROMs
For those that were expecting at least one more kitchen, it doesn't look like it will happen, as personal life and increased workload have left me with very little time lately, so sorry if you were hoping for it but know that you can use a lot of OEMs from my WVGA kitchen and use them on VGA with very little work

I'm using TMartins kitchen with manila 1921 and I'm in the process of adding 2011. I understand about de-selecting the old packages, but what about the old manila 1921 packages that are in the OEM folder ? Can I simply edit the "packages.txt" file in the OEM folder and set the old packages to "False" ? Thanks, McNeil |
