All you need to do is set them to false and then true all the new ones.
That will work without editing the txt.

Thanks for the response. What I mean is, some of the Manila 1921 packages are in the OEM folder of TMartins kitchen and their status, true/false, cannot be changed from within the Visual Kitchen gui. You have to edit the packages.txt file to change it. I guess what I'd like to know is whether the new Manila packages will overwrite the old ones. Let me know when you get a minute.

Thanks,

McNeil

Oh OK. You mean the OEM packages. Correct?
They should over write them but you can always compare them with your new files and just backup and remove the old ones from the kitchen.
That will help keep the kitchen lean and clean.

Sometimes when you have EXT files and the same files in OEM the kitchen can crash.
Usually the EXT files will be newer and match the files you are cooking with anyways. Back them all up to be sure.

Re: [ Discontinued ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROM

Thanks Root!!! One last question... I downloaded a fresh copy of Calks latest kitchen, added the new manila files and started to cook. About 2 mintues into it, the kitchen coughed up an out of memory exception error. Any idea as to what may be causing this ? This is the first time this has happened using Calks kitchen. Thanks again for all your help.

Did you de-select all the old Manila files?
I get that if I forget to de-select a group of Manila packages.
Say if I add 2011 and have 2012 also selected.
It says out of memory. It is too much for the kitchen to handle.
Check that first.

Do you have 1920 or 1921 and something else selected maybe?

Thank you Calk for this amazing kitchen(and your WVGA one)!

I bet thats the problem. I know you got other stuff goin, but is there any way you might be able to shoot me a list with the names of the Manila 2.5(1921) package names ? That way I can move them out of the kitchen into a backup folder or something.

Thanks again!!

They should all be in a 1921 folder together my friend.
Open the kitchen and scroll down and you can easily find them that way.
They should all be in ext/touch pro/common and then 1921 folders.

Good to hear TMartin...

Do you plan on continuing your version of the Kitchen now that this Cal's is officially discontinued?
