You're right N8, I flashed to calk's pre-built rom on the first page and it worked in just 5 seconds. I noticed that the terms of service thing for google locations pops up immediately and you have to accept the terms in order to use the my location weather service. When I built a rom, I didn't get that in 6.1 I also notice that htc geoservice.dll gets overwritten.Hmmm????

edit: just flashed calks pre build 6.1 rom and the my location in the weather tab worked just fine. I believe that what ever is overwriting the goeservice dll is the culprit.

Correct. I cooked up a 6.5.1 23053.

The names show up near the bottom this time on a black bar (instead of below the TO: field in a small white box. The send icon is showing up fine.

definitely weird. i used to use "ONLY" kitchens with my mogul with DCD's kitchen, but since i've had the touch pro, i've just used pre-built roms. i just cooked my first Calkulin rom, and was hoping it would fix a few of my issues. It didn't. I'm sure it's a combination of packages, but dang, i wish i had your "configuration files" for the Ervius kitchen.

I attached my .erv config file renamed to .txt. My suggestion would be to cook a clean lite rom and see if that helps. The tricky part is narrowing down the culprit..

Does anyone know a faster place to download his latest rom version from. The link on the main page keeps telling me download will take 28 hours to complete. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I manged to get around the issue by pressing on the favorites button and loading a favorite. It'll load the page, and you have access to the address bar and everything again.

We have all of these in the windows folder but I'm not familiar enough with this SYS to say what it is.

That's in Calk's 23053 build too, so not the root cause...

Since it's the same value, sc00b4s7eve you're probably right about a bad DLL.... I tried to copy over the mshtml.dll from JD's ROM from /Windows to my Storage card using Resco but I'm getting access denied. Is there a special way to copy over ROM files?

I've already fix the inbox issues on 23052\53, the missing icons and am working on the blank issue now, so hopefully I'll get it figured out soon so I can release the updated kitchen
