also guys, i've never been able to type into ppcgeeks/opera from this ROM. i can in ever other rom i've tried, but this one, it just greys out. any ideas? i'm sure it has something to do with java script, but i'm not sure the fix.

has something to do with this opera. i always use nfsfan's opera and it works perfect

i made an oem of it and im pretty sure you know how to do this, here is instructions for others that want it and are not as savy

just add it to ext/shared/packages
and copy and paste this into your packages.txt

+1 its weird b/c when i first flashed the rom it was autocompleting recipients in my texts perfectly. then i chose the finger keyboard bc the stupid regular keyboard was just popping up every time i opened a text in portrait. now the only way that it autocompletes recipients in the "To" field of an sms is if i used the onscreen keyboard, type the first couple letters of a recipient and then hit enter it will bring up a contact to choose.... i was gonna hard reset.... is there any way to have the on screen keyboard not pop up automatically when you open a text in portrait?

that's not a fix - it's a work around. and I actually like the new PIE better than Opera anyway so I haven't been cooking it in!

Thanks, but cancel is not always there to make it work - plus it's annoying when you're clicking on a link to pull up a web site and it goes to that error. It's weird because I tried JD's 23052 ROM and PIE works perfectly in his... I rather cook my own though to have it customized my way and this is driving me crazy trying to find a fix for this!

I think it's a problem with a dll or it pointing to an incorrect dll:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs]
"blank"="res://??????/blank.htm"

?????? could be
wmlview.dll (currently in 23053 & giving errors)
wmlview7.dll
webview.dll (old setting from PIE in 6.1)
or something completely different!

We have all of these in the windows folder but I'm not familiar enough with this SYS to say what it is.
