Re: [ 10-22 ][ v4.1 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I'm getting 23506 to build just fine, and during install I get through the calibration screen, but then the install hangs on the 'It will automatically customize your device in 3 seconds...' message.

I do have a number of custom EXTs, but they install successfully in 23071.

Any help appreciated...

Check your config_operator.txt file in you carrier EXT. Make sure all the paths are valid....

Re: [ 10-22 ][ v4.1 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I just cooked a ROM using this kitchen along with 23085. Everything works great except for the weather tab. When I hit the menu key to change the settings, I don't see the menu at all. The "update now" button works just fine, but I have to manually edit the registry to add/delete cities. Anyone else seeing this ?

Thanks,

McNeil

hey guys... has anyone been able to get the manila alarm settings to stick? I click on the clock, go to the alarm tab, select an alarm and go to it's settings, select the days and time, click the "Done" softkey, come back to the manila alarm list and the days and times are at the default values. Click "Done" on the list screen and the home tab still says "Alarm off".

Any ideas?

Mediafire is giving me an hour+ download time on Calk's kitchen. If mirrors are allowed, can someone post one? Please and Thank you.

Try going to Start->Settings->Clock&Alarms, and setting it there. It should stick. I had the same problem using build 23085, however, I noticed that I enabled "Disable World Clock" in the visual kitchen, so I think that's what may be causing this. If you cooked your own ROM using Calks kitchen, try setting "Disable World Clock" to TRUE, recook and see what happens.

Well, yeah it works fine when I use the WM alarm settings. The "Disable World Clock" EXT isn't causing it. My world clock is enabled. I want the world clock functionality.

Re: [ 10-22 ][ v4.1 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I’m using 4.1 on a Sprint touch pro… when I click the X to close a program on just about every program I use it minimizes that program. This is fine because I use Spb mobile shell and I’m able to close it in task manager. The problem I have is, when I hit the X while using Bing it closes the program. It never used to do this and can be a bad thing if I’m using it while driving and accidentally hit the X, considering this will be the time I would be using it. So my question is, is there a way to make Bing minimize instead of having it close?
