the problem is the phone dialer. you can only use one or the other, not both.

I have not.
I like my ROMs relatively light. So I cooked it in once, checked it out and I haven't messed w/ it since.

I also have a question.
Does HTC Notification Enhancement still have issues working properly with the 6.5.1 Taskbar? I'm guessing there's no way to hook it to the MS enlarged Icons, right?

i have given up on the HTC Notification Enhancement in lieu of the MS version. in the latest com4 builds the notification bubbles are larger in size and similar to HTC's. also, since i have color icons for manila it only makes sense to have the MS Notification bar to keep things relatively similar.

as for hooking the HTC to MS...

i would guess someone is trying

That or cook No Data in so you have to enable and disable your connection.

If I'm not mistaken there is a way to set a timer for your connection to time out when in idle. I'm sure if you search it out you'll find it.
i am looking more at something like the second option, ill look into that, but is there any other way similar to the second option?

Re: [ 10-13 ][ v4 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I know this has been discussed and that there's a semi-fix to bring up the HTC task manager (bring up notifications, then hold down clock for like 2 seconds).

But is there a more convenient way of bringing up HTC task manager?

This sort of kills multi-tasking on the phone, which is one of the strong points of WinMo.

I also tried using the latest Showcase (1.1.0) but that prevented TF3D from running.

Not the HTC LargeTitleBar. Like this:

but HTC Notification Enhancement, Like this:

I like it the best because it links directly to the correct Manila pages:txts, Wifi, and CommManager. Right now that little 6.5.1 taskbar seems MS-Only.
I guess I just have to wait for the experimental GUI to get fine tuned before I can expect anything like this to work.

In the 6.5.1 Version is there a reg value I can change to disable the Task manager? Right now It's over lapping my top bar, and I just use clear ram because its a pain to cycle through the top bar just to get it. So if I could disable it all together I'd love to know how.

Nm I'm a moron, theirs actually a system option for it lol. I'm so used to reg editing out the crap i don't use anymore; I guess that idea slipped past me.
