The only differences in the 6.1 ROMs are the manila changes and I fixed the softkey cause I noticed they both said Internet when using the send end softkeys option

Differences between the two are, 23053 notification drop down works on top of manila and 23414 has a new contact manager(only useful if you don't use manila). I run 23053 because it's been very stable for me but I'm sure 23414 is just as stable

my 053 notification has always worked. i think that was the main difference over 052.

yeah it was but I can't see any differences between 23412 & 23414 but I'm sure there are some

412 had some keyboard issues with me, even with the proposed fixes.

i'll go with 053. it's been good, and especially if you have fixed the soft buttons, other than an occasionally freeze up, this will be solid.

When I resync my contacts in 2341X, it wants to automatically insert their birthdays in the calendar. Annoying, since I already have my calendar populated and this leads to duplicates.

A workaround:
- sync contacts only
- use PIMBackup to delete all appointments
- sync calendar

I think I'll be switching back to 25053 for this reason + the notification icons working.

Anyone else, using 23053, having random freezes while using Wifi or trying to pull down a notification? Wondering if I should just HardReset or fully reFlash :/

flashing the new 053 now. i hope those problems aren't happening. i'd hard reset first man...and that tells me i probably need to do it twice.

Two quick questions regarding the new 053 and 6.5.1:

1) Since I'm already running the "older" 053 ROM, if I flash to this version, can I simply do a full restore from Spb Backup and not have to worry about re-customizing?

2) Can't seem to figure out how to find what is still running in RAM in 6.5.1. I miss the TF3D drop down arrow from the stock rom.
