Re: [ 9-24 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Here's a tested fully working 23414.VGA build ready for Visual Kitchen.

This build rocks, and has given me the most free memory on my VZW TP out of any build I have tested recently: 58MB free, and no leakage, with base OS loaded

Enjoy

just remember to add these lines to your packages text file

Applications - tcmdpocketarm=True§

Navigation - Sprint GPS TP2=True§

Re: [ 9-24 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Woot! Taught myself some new cooking tricks today. Created first EXT's from cab's. Made some provxml's, however I'm not real sure on those yet. Things got alot easier when I found out through research that the ext packages needed to be in the new format for this kitchen.
One thing I'm having issues with is creating come reg tweaks from registry exports. I only was able to edit the existing registry files for some apps such as RSSHub (adding my feeds). I have a simple one which I could use some assistance with as a learning exercise. I have two actually; Ident.reg and Owner Info.reg. Can anyone lead me down the correct path to cook these into my ROM's?
What is the correct format for registry tweaks? (Like an ext or provxml?)
What is their proper place in the kitchen?
Simplest way to create them from reg exports?
If anyone wants to throw in their input or point me in the correct direction on this it would be appreciated. Also, what about modules? I remember reading a post about making some files into modules speeding up the ROM. Haven't been able to find much on it since.
TIA

Calk - I downloaded the updated 23053 sys you posted tonight and so far so good.

Create cabs for the registry entries and then convert those to EXTs: load up into the kitchen and cook em in

PIE works with no "Internet Explorer can not download blank error"; the 9/24 build I tested was NG.

You can try it that way but its buggy. It's better to wait for a complete port. Basically that way you are taking WVGA home files from the newer build and replacing the old files with the new.
