I am pulling my hair out! For whatever reason I cannot flash to any rom right now. I'm trying to update from a rom i made in the Kitchen to the new ROM that Calk built. I've tried from Bootloader and it just wont connect the RUU.

Any ideas?

Try from bootloader mode maybe?

I have a question regarding PhoneCanvas... It's not specifically related to this kitchen but I know people with a lot of knowledge come here... It has to do with kitchens/oems/exts in general. :P

What file (.dll or whatever) controls whether the PhoneCanvas only has the keys to answer/ignore a call or to make it slide to answer?

I am not talking about the graphic files (images) but the actual file(s) that controls the behavior.

go to start and in search programs box type UAC and when the UAC dialog box click on do not warn and then you are set. If you dont want UAC off then run the eviruskitchen file and not the calk kitchen file, right click on it and select run as administrator.

I had this same problem after one of my first few flashes... Not sure exactly what caused it.

After a bunch of fails... I took the battery out, let it sit... entered bootload (Power + Vol Dn + Soft Reset)... waited a minute or so -- and it worked.

Not sure what the problem is but it only happened on one of my flashes...

it's a hidden file under the main directory.

to see hidden files... in Windows Explorer.. Tools > Folder Options > View > "Show Hidden files, folders, and drives"
