Re: [ Jul 21 ] [ 23009 \ 21921 \ 21052 ] [ v2 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

I have the strangest thing occuring with a 23009 ROM I cooked from this kitchen. And it seems this has happened before, but not quite to this extreme:

When I first cooked it, I was betting about a day and a half of battery life under moderate usage conditions. This was holding true for many days. But now, out of the blue (I havent changed anything), I am lucky to get a half day under minimal usage conditions before I have to charge the battery again. I have tried a few soft resets but nothing is holding up. Has anyone else been experiencing anything like this?

I would really rather not cook again until I know what this could be... or until there is something newer.

False positive, more than likely...
Oh, BTW, anyone have disappearing text notifications? I get the text just fine, but a day or so after flashing 21052 I don't hear or feel a thing when I get a new one. It's like I put it on silent. Phone rings, but I think all incoming msgs are silent. I thought it was the version of manila I was using, but I went back to the old one I always used. Perhaps Wunder Radio? Or the rom itself?

Check to see if GPS is on and also check to see if Push Pages has been enabled in TF3D2. Usually when I see a faster than normal battery drain it is because something is using the radio more often than it should.

I would check your sound and notification settings. If the ring works but the SMS doesn't my guess is the sound file your using to notify got corrupted or removed.

No trojan but your probably getting a corrupted download. Huge Difference and if you read the last few pages, everyones having the same issue. I have downloaded the kitchen around 5-8 times and finally got it unzipped without errors.

There is no trojan in this. I use it on all my computers including my work computer which have the latest virus definitions. I'm not sure where you're getting this from. If it did have a trojan, I'm sure that there would be a lot more complaints than just you.

I am having a problem, where none of the html links in either txt msgs or emails appear to work. When I click on them nothing happens. Anyone have any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks.
