I dropped the 21921 SYS and Rom into the kitchen and cooked a rom. I cannot get GPS to work - 0 satelites. I used the 7-21 kitchen. I have tried, but with corruption to use the 7-22 kitchen.

Any idea how to fix/patch the GPS so that it works?

Hey guys, I'm having an issue where any Picture Message I recieve is tiny, and not even viewable. I'm using Alltel, and on other ROMs, I don't have this issue. Anyone have a fix?

I have the same issue froader but on the 21052 sys from V7-22 Kitchen.

I did for awhile there get the GPS to work by flashing the VZW upgrade and changing the radio to V1.03.09V but after 3 days the GPS stopped working again. When I have the time I'm going to try a ready cooked rom to see if it comes back.

I thought it was a matter of my VZW GPS being locked and after the success with the update I thought I was done but now I have the same issues again.

I don't know it it really is rom related though...as I did have a working GPS running caulkins rom.

You need to drp older GPS rivers in the kitchen. There is something going on with the new drivers.

I used a 21921 XIP with the 23009 SYS (7-22 kitchen) and I don't have that problem...

I think it's only an issue with Verizon phones.

OK I got mine working again and I think I know what happened to me anyway...

First off YES I have a VZW phone...Had the PPST2.01 installed once by flashing the VZW Upgrade rom and thats when I got it working the first time for two days...

I did a hard reset to clear something else and I think that also will clear the setting PPST2.01 puts in. I noticed that in the upgrade rom package that there is a ROM plus the PPST2.01 cab...

When I installed that it probably ran the cab as a customization and then I flashed my CaulkKit rom and didn't bother with the hard reset to see if the GPS worked. It did...until I hard reset two days later!!!

What I did to get it back (and I'm betting anyone with a VZW phone who is having problems with GPS lock can use this)

Open file explorer and run /windows/PPST

It will make some changes and reset the phone...Your GPS should work after that! I got an immediate lock of 7 sats on Google.

Simply installing the cab is not enough it really only installs the program...you still have to manually run PPST for it to make the changes!

So if you are a VZW user and have issues try this before you do anything else!!

Caulkin - sorry for messing up your thread with all of this...The rom 21052 is NOT the issue nor are the drivers in my case!
