Hey Merdin,
How do I change the splash screen gif and startup. I have used Advanced config in the past, but when I go to that option it just says default then I hit browse to pick the location of the gif that I put in the windows folder it does not show up, any ideas? Should I just rename it welcomehead192 and stick it into windows? Just curious why that doesnt work like usual. And by the way what is scroll launch in settings menu? When trying to open it crashes every time. Otherwise everything is pretty damn fast and im lovin it so far!! Nicely done!

Oh one more thing, Youtube does not play any video. It shows the listings, but when you try to play says Cannot play video? And Pandora allways says We are experiencing network communication difficulties.

Merdin, I just flashed 3.0 and then did a hard reset but when I hit phone the dial pad doesn't come up and there seems to be a glitch in the corner. Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: A soft reset did the trick.

I also really liked the blue but when I had 2.9 and did the fix for blue not everything worked properly and the clock was still red. Is there anyway to get 3.0 similar to how 2.8 had everything blue? Thank you so much for all the work that you put into this. I know you don't do it for the thank you's....but thank you!

If you want the OEM splash screen, you can use this cab file.

(assuming you didn't rub the cab I posted) Try renaming it to:

SprintStartup.gif

Place into windows folder and reboot.

Just one small idea if I may. Wouldn't it be cool if you can click on a date in the calendar tab and go directly to that date in the calendar program? Of course, I have no idea weather this is possible or not. Just an idea that I'd love to see.

Yea i would like that too, only problem is noone yet created a extension for the tab, it requires hard coding, but i think its possible ill put in a suggestion over at xda see if anyone wants to try it.

I am seeing one thing kind of strange. I've done both a soft reset and hard reset, but it still happens:
When I click on "Internet Launch Browser", Opera comes up, which is fine, but if I turn my phone to landscape, the phone pad comes up, shows all my latest calls, flips around in there for a few seconds, then comes back up to portrait view on google (which is my home page). Doesn't show landscape at all. Then if I open the keyboard, it goes through the whole phone pad episode again and finally gets to landscape mode.
Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me?

Hmm thats wierd, its not happening on mine, try doing another flash, maybe it didnt go through so good.

The memory is like that on most custom roms, because we update the Pagepool size to a higher amount which allows for more cache to go towards the phone, its kinda just like RAM on the computer which allows better speeds.
