There are CAB files you can download from that thread for the custom icons...it's not that hard.

I get the problem right after hard reset. It's only happened once so far. I'll let you know the exact scenario next time it happens.

Yea i forgot to add those in but hear you go buddy no need to flash back ill have the link up in just a bit give me 5 minutes i tell you what to do.


Hmm i did include all the cabs for the taskbar but forgot the secret ingrediant.

Hear install this and it should fix so all the icons show up.

Haha. I didn't intend on bothering you to do something JUST for me. Thanks for the generous gesture though. I'm just taking a look at the other thread to figure out how everything works.

If you put a rom with custom icons then there is no way we can change it? Or can we still change it based on the word doc, "custom task bar," in your OP?

Yea i made it optional in my rom so you can delete my taskbar and put on your own, but did you install the file i included in the above post with the link it will add the icons to your taskbar on my V2.8

I ahd NO PROBLEM at all putting in my own taskbar. Its EXTREMELY easy, they have cabs now.
