I had a huge thing typed out about it, but the phone droped the internet connection in the middle of posting. haha.

When I was first checking on roaming, it sent me to my voice mail. As in to leave one for myself.

I went away for a bit, and was in a higher signal area, so if there were any updates, it would get it, i'd think, whatever, usually nothing happens unless you tell it.
Anyways.

Now i tried again this morning just for shigggles. and it sent me to some thing about the american roaming network, and how i needed to pay to use it with my credit card. haha.

Didn't have this problem before the rom.

I was having a lot of problems dialing data on roaming with it as well.
I know its not just my tower, i tried it in a diff town 30 miles away.

I dont know what to tell you im always roaming since where my mom lives Sprint is always roaming.. ill test on it some m ore.. what radio are yo using??? also what PRL?

I duno what PRL I'm using.

I fear the PRL UPdate i did might have done it, but I didn't have any problems after that, because I was using a diferent rom before i switched. Wow my spelling went to hell and back.

The radio I changed long before the rom, so I know its not the radio. But i'm using the starcom one right now. It doesn' like your rom at all, overheats big time during data while teathered.

no issues with roaming here, in fact while at the casino the other night I was roaming most of the time...
and everything on Ivan's ROM worked fine, despite the fact that the device was roaming

have u tried reprogramming your MDN and MSID, that usually fixes the "american roaming network" on Sprint phones

i agree with puff. I have had my phone in roaming all day and onky my battery went a little faster.

I changed my roms and radio's around.
The PRL update did it.

I am almost always roaming at home, so this is a problem.

I'll call sprint and *****. I have a corporate account.

I thought so.. well you can also always go to http://corolada.com/prl/ and get the PRL you need.

here is how to update:

1. dial ##778# then select edit
2. enter your msl (if you don't have this contact customer service to get it)
3. view info>prl
4. update prl file...
5. select the prl file
6. click ok at the top
7. click yes
8. it will reset and is all done
