All that being said, there are a lot of people on here who just aren't comfortable with tools that many of us may take for granted. I would offer great caution to those who do fear words like "hex editor" to not run the risk of messing something up. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow if you arent' afraid. If you have any concern at all, don't do it!!! If you must er, er on the side of caution.

Well yeah, of course I used an hex editor LOL, I guess I should have added that too. Just download and install a hex editor and use the search function in the editor to find the line you need to edit and thats it.

**Uploading Ivan's TP v1.2** (GSM manilla still woriking on sprint)

[-] removed extra taskmgr
[#] Opera Mobile 9.5.2745 seems to work better
[#] Device recognized as Touch Pro at Powerdeck webpage
[#] Fixed java (lets you install opera mini) *thanks Mightymike*

Ivan, let us know somehow when your new ROM is uploaded. The first page still shows 1.1 and files still named 1.1.

Downloading now, I'll try it out. As for the lag with SMS typing on the hard keyboard I brought up earlier, it may be something I'm installing that causes it. I'll have to do some troubleshooting on that, but I'll post about it if I come up with anything in case someone else comes across the issue.

Edit: Opera Mini installed fine for me. I am having an odd issue with numbers in passwords (if they are typed on the soft keyboard) though, where they don't actually show as an asterisk until you type the next letter/number. In my case I have to type an extra character at the end of my password and then backspace for it to recognize the password properly. Not a huge deal, I just haven't had this on anyone else's rom yet. I'm experiencing this directly off of a fresh install, nothing of my own installed yet. It works properly with the hard keyboard.
