I've been running on one of JD's older ROMS for a while now and its actually been pretty good to me. Its time for change, and I'm looking forward to trying out your stuff. Thanks for the hard work.

ok... here goes...

decided to run the GSM Themed Manila... had some issues with CRC checks on download... both times fixed by re-downloading... could be a 4shared thing?

Rom pagepool set to 32

really friggin fast and seems solid (only an hour or so use now but no locks or crashes)

Like the locking app... was using gyrator2... this is a lot less intrusive to the rest of the system

Like the light weight of this rom ALOT... not loaded with every version of every media player or every freeware and share/trialware game. No unnecessary or biased based utilities. In short... thanks for leaving the apps and utils up to the USER

The gripes/bugs/questions

BUG = Messaging... deleting from the Flo interface.. the dialog/confirmation and box say [IDS_MESSAGING_CONFIRM_DEL...]

GRIPE = Second Today... can you add the app to change this back to default if the USER prefers? I like it... but I can see where this could be a sticking point

QUESTION = New OS build = New IE6? or is this still in testing?

GRIPE TO ALL CHEFS = Not just you Ivan... but ALL chefs seem to like GAUDY splash screens... I realize the graffiti is the chefs personal stamp... but c'mon... it bucks the rest of the theme and interface... I would really like to see chefs fit their splash screens to the product

I'd prefer it not be there, I don't even use TouchFLO 3D. It's just a minor thing though, I wouldn't stop using the ROM because of it.

"The file Phonepad" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem presists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
so i'm guessing that the registry path thing for it isn't just "Phonepad"?
Is there like, more of a path to it?

do u have pocket rar installed in ur fone??? sounds like its in a zipped folder, pocket rar will allow u to unzip and install.......http://www.bestfreewaredownload.com/...-jgjfjzmc.html

sounds like whats in a zipped folder?
what i'm doing is editing the registry files to change the left soft key that this rom comes with from "Second Day" to the original "Phone"
any ideas?

sorry for being a big noob but, I'm having trouble installing this ROM. when i go to install i get to the page where its about to start and then my active-sync disappear!!! just when its start to update the rom activesync just drops

Its normal activesync disconnects and phone goes in bootloader

If you can't get it to work from your computer you could always flash from SD.
