Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
Can anybody help me out? If it's possible, I'd like to put custom roms on my storage card, and if/when I feel like trying out a different one, I can just do it from the card instead of having to wait until I get home and do it from the PC.

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
Ahhh. The PPCKitchen.org tutorial says it needs to be a plain SD not SDHC. I think that is why it isnt working for me. Anyone confirm this?
And thanks for all the work you all do! EDIT: I got it. Phone wasnt unlocked properly. It said 'Security Unlocked' in the bootloader rainbow screen, but I didnt have the correct other versions. I reunlocked and flashed correctly. Last edited by wylieinc; 01-10-2009 at 09:19 AM. |

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
When I unzip and try to run the file, I get an application error that says the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Is it a problem with my computer or is the file messed up? Ive tried re-downloading it

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
hi,
Just got my touch pro from verizon wireless, and I have tried all three. It does not seem to take at all, when I try using the RUU, it gets stuck on 0% and then error out. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Give you a heads up to this is my first windows mobile device I am a former blackberry user. |

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
Ok I think I figured out my problem with trying to flash via SD Card, and here is how I did it:
-512MB Card -Inserted card into the phone -Connected phone to PC as Disk Drive -Formated card as FAT32 USING DEFAULT ALLOCATION TABLE I really don't know if this is going to help anybody else HOWEVER this DID work for me, I was scratching my head trying to figure this out...I couldn't be happier!!! Let us all know how this works out for you people ( or don't ) |
