if you bjork a ROM to where you cannot boot into the OS then you just put your phone into bootloader and flash a stock (or known good custom) ROM to regain a working device.

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
I put the latest verizon ROM on and it appears to have flashed. However, the touchflo theme is not there. It still has the stock menu. How do I fix this and what did I do wrong?

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
I turned off my TP, and held power/volume down button and got into boot loader mode. My phone is connected to my PC but Activesync cannot connect.
How to Flash Via PC: ... 6.follow the RUU on screen instructions from there One of the steps of the RUU is to make sure there is an activesync connection. Anyone have any ideas? Holding down power button/volume down while phone is on just asks me to turn off the phone; it doesn't go into bootloader mode. |

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
Ok after trying for hours I finally figured out how to do it.
1. Put your phone in boot loader mode.(hold volume down and power at the same time and press the reset button) 2. Disable USB connections in WMDC. 3. Connect your device and allow windows to install the driver. (you might have to get a windows update to get the latest driver this in important!!!) The driver should be signed as "Microsoft Corporation" NOT "Microsoft" 4. Unplug the device. 5. Turn your device back on in regular mode. Then disable "advanced network functionality" in activesync. (this can be found in the USB-to-PC option under connections) 6. Plug the device back in while in regular mode. 7. Let the device connect and the Flash away!!! Hope that this helps anyone else that is stuck in the same boat that I was. |

Re: How To Flash Your Touch Pro
I GOT IT...The frame rate reduction is coming from my 4GB sd card being inserted. When removed, it is crazy smooth, any reason why the SD card would effect the system speed? Constant reading maybe?
EDIT: SO SORRY!!! Wrong thread, delete if possible...lol |
