Thanks but what I mean is, if you have a set amount of pagepool like 48mb, then it's not dynamic. Dynamic is just that, it dynamically changes size based on what a program says it needs. having a set amount makes it static and can not go above what you have set it to.

I guess if you make it large enough and a program doesn't need the full 48mb then in a sense it's considered dynamic but still, you have a set value...how can it be considered dynamic? Unless I am missing something.....

All I did was set it to is what was posted to be dynamic. Dynamic to me myself means memory should physically change on demand. It does not move on the device. So who knows. My total memory on my TP is 143.02 with my PP change and the device is the quickest I have seen to date for the TP.

Please don't take my responses as argumentative. I am just trying to make sure that correct information is posted. The llink you supplied to me above also goes into mentioning Swiftblade and how he got his information so I figured it was best to get that info directly from Swiftblades posts.

when having it set at a set number and dynamic it uses your set amount until its full and when it gets close it then adjusts by stealing your ram. actually had it happen the first time today while running igo8, quicken mobile, opera with a few tabs open, and a few other things and my ram dropped from the 179.2 It has with a 36 Dynamic pagepool to about 130. So I know it changes itself. I think it just has a bigger start value. At 0 it is all dynamic so if your steadily only running basic stuff it may actually be slower because it is constantly re-adjusting your ram. With it at 36 dynamic it only adjusts under very heavy usage.

Which link? If you're talking about the FTP link, then remove the "up" from it...
