Did the packages that didn't show have an option.xml? The kitchen needs this to display the package.

I got it working. I had accidentally put it in vibrate then ring and my ringtone is on my storage card so with the lag it was not ringing at all. I have since fixed it.

how can i add my own stuff like icons and clear program icons in the kitchen so when i flash it its to the way i like it? kinda like a slipstreamed vista dvd

Icons for system apps and taskbar icons are located in various .dll files in SYS. You'll need to read up on that as I don't dabble in it.

if you find the cabs for what you want, you can always add them the UC list to have them install automatically on the initial start up. thats what i do for apps that wont cook in very well.

Bug in the ROM (also exist in Stock Sprint ROM). I was hoping this would get fixed in your ROM, I know Sprint/HTC are working on fixing it in their new ROM. The ROM for Sprint's version of the Touch Pro has a bug in the Phone number parser that does not exist in AT&T's Fuze ROM nor the HTC branded version of the Touch Pro... the problem happens when you use the Company Lookup (Global Address list) feature of contacts to look up a contact that has a Work number that includes both a number and has something like x11111 for extention. The AT&T and HTC stock roms parser handles this and still dials the main number ok, but the Sprint version will refuse to dial the number and effectively makes the "Call Work" a dead button. Any chance you can see if there is a solution to this without having to wait for Sprint to ship a new ROM?

Not a fix, but one workaround would be to replace the "x" with "," (i.e. comma). That will insert a pause in dialing, For many systems that will enable dialing a person directly without manual intervention (sometimes appending a "#" is also needed).

Sadly this is not a workaround... as I said, this is not in my local contacts, this is in the Global Address List (aka Company Directory), and that is not changable. HTC has already stated that the phone number parser in the Sprint rom is busted, so they are working on it, was just hoping someone else might have figured out a fix faster, or pulled the parser from the AT&T ROM.

Another question, in the Sprint stock rom there was a program that let you take a snapshot of a business card and then it would convert that to a contact, does anyone know the name of that application and if it is available to install back on my system?

world card mobile is the app you are looking for. it is in the stock rom in the oemapps folder. i dont know of a .cab that would install it, but i am sure if you search you can find what you are looking for.

I loaded this kitchen and I noticed even if I choose the sprint theme in the today menu many of the selection bars are still green instead of the yellow. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Good question. I think what you are asking is how do we change the selected windows theme? the windows mobile theme is green. this makes the top and bottom bars green as well as the selected menu items. any ideas?

I won't update the kitchen probably until the working 6.5 beta or the full 6.5 comes out. as for opera, it is an OEM so you can replace that now.

eRice is there a way to change the text selection color back to yellow from the green your using in your ROM? Also is there an easy way to add our own cabs to the kitchen?

i'm not sure if theres an easier way, but i used the oemizer http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9830

on the bottom right see attached picture, theres a gray box, change the colors, finish oemizing

then copy it in your erice folder, inside 'oem'

This program worked great the only thing I was unable to change was the task manager. That still show green.

erice, I found two small bugs. The first one is a security error when trying to launch sprint tv from the touchflo menu. The second is an error message when closing Remote Desktop Client. It flashes up for a quick second. If you enable error reporting its more visible.

OEMizer is the easiest way I've found to make OEMs from Cabs. As for the bugs you found. Thank you for reporting them, however I won't be working on them per my previous post. I'm waiting to update when 6.5 is fully functional.

I have your build on my personal TP and BT_DUN works flawlessly. Problem is my company doesn't want us unlocking our work phones and I an unable to get BT_DUN to work on the stock sprint build. Did you anything particular to get this working in your build?

no there was nothing special I did to make it work. unfortunately I don't use the BT DUN option so I can't give any advice on it. I doubt it would have anything to do with an unlocked phone however.

I can connect BT_DUN fine with eRice's ROM without relocking. I am trying to get my stock sprint (Company Phone) connected using BT_DUN. BT_PAN does not work with the VPN software and my company has disabled the ability to connect to ad hoc networks so wmwifirouter is not an option. I have been going through the registry to see if I could find any differences. My work phone came loaded with 1.03.651.4_RS1.03.15. One thing I noticed was there is an extra RasBook Key in the stock sprint build called Sprint PCS. I wonder if this has to do with Sprint Carrier cab being used.

Have you unlocked your phone already? If so extract the RAR and run Start Kitchen. Then follow the onscreen directions.

Anyone having a problem getting outlook to sync contacts? I have made a few custom roms with this kitchen all when I sync I get an error code 1. When I flash back to the Alltel rom, it works fine. Any suggestions?

Ill let you know after I create and flash. I have to get 14 phones ready to go for my IT department and they all a) want the better ROM and b) need their contacts to work. :P
