just gave it half an hour, and i let it go for 7 and a half hours while i was at work. still didnt do anything, i left my phone sit on my computer desk while i was at work. this is getting discouraging.

Have you tried to flash the stock rom? I would do that just to make sure the phone is still working.

flashing stock rom now....

EDIT: just flashed the stock sprint rom and all is working again....

now i just need to find out why JD's 2nd edition rom wont work on my phone :'(

the fm radio rom was made the day I got this touch pro for the touch diamond which if any one is interested all you have to do is change the fm drivers and add the fminit.bts file from a gsm touch diamond \ pro rom and so far I can get the radio to initialize but it will not find any stations on the touch pro

Im 99% sure sprint had HTC remove the FM radio from their version of the CDMA Touch Pro. A feature like that is not on top of everyone's list i would say..... its more like a novelty. But you never know....

i couldnt get the active sync to sync at first,
had to change in
settings >> connections >> USB to PC
and uncheck enable advanced network functionality
active sync works now

if you have FM radio working and you just cant get it to find any stations, its probably because our headphones don't have the antennas on them.

Still running stock rom and i had to do this as well. I plan to flash a custom rom as soon as a stock/shipped rom for Sprint gets leaked/available.

I thought the stock Sprint TP ROM was on the FTP.

He means a shipped version. Its an exe file, the one on the FTP is a rom dump.

Correct. They removed it because HTC built it to Sprint's specifications and they didn't have foresee a need for an FM radio in one of their SmartPhones.

as for the headphones not having an antenna you obviously dont remember the walkman. all the antenna is is the wire that goes to the headphones, now it might have an extra pin to link something from the tp to the wiring but the headphones literally are the antenna as long as they are wired headphones.

The fm radio is there but I believe on the TP it is disabled via the hardware I had it running on the diamond by just changing a few files and drivers ..... ok on a different note I'm uploading a new rom I try to fix some of the nagging issues that you have posted and I have added some apps back into the rom to that you may use (that I really probably never will ) like windows live Rss Hub so this is truly now a community rom so when I finish uploading it and if you use it ...... go vote ..... then thank me ...lol

I generally use sendspace so that I can see how many people download (its something to keep me going) however mirrors are ok if you can provide them

I can certainly provide a mirror, more than a few servers available, I just need to get the file in the first place ;)

My office blocks sendspace and my cell signal is too weak in this bomb shelter to download it on that =/ I'll grab it tonight worst case.

Hey JD...any reasoning behind leaving the PagePool at 6 and not increasing it with the available RAM on the TP? I changed this to 12 to see how it goes versus the previous ROM.

yes thats very removable at one point I had them in separate packages but I just decided to remove what I wouldn't need from the original oem
