I tried to download various versions of it, but they either did not install correctly or if they did, they required contacts to have email addresses. Can someone point me in the right direction to get a proper pic mail version on here after JD's Rom flash. Or possibly direct me to a similar rom of version of JD's that contains pic mail? Thanks guys.

go to sprint for the pic mail app after you install it soft reset

Does anyone know the link to the sprint website that has the picture mail cab file? I believe it is on their powerdeck somewhere. NOTE: not asking for the cab itself, as it may not be allowed, but rather the link to the sprint website that provides it. Thanks JD.

Pretty damn good. I hit about 70% by the end of the day. ~30 minutes of phone calls, ~15 minutes of surfing/E-Mail, and ~30-50 texts (inbound/outbound).

you know after I made my last update I went back to the stock rom to see what issues I inherited from it and I must say that I was highly impressed by how worked relatively well so well that I decide to make future rom more stock like .... well actually I made one more stock like however since I don't wanna keep updates coming weekly and I don't wanna keep flashing my phone over and over again I am going to hold off on releasing it for a minute to make sure that nothing else is gonna come up like a new ce os or anything that I may have forgot to check ---- the future update will have sprint branding (after using the stock I kinda grown to like the yellow theme) meaning the sprint version of manila will be back (it loads faster anyway) and I will leave most of the oem intact so whatever is in the sprint rom beside the software store will also be in the rom so unfortunatly for other carriers the rom will be more geared for sprint users also I'll be making a base rom something like my titan roms however there is no eta on none of these projects

This is EXCELLENT news...for me anyway. I like the Sprint manilla and integrated sprint tv and music tabs. Very excited to see this Sprint branded rom :)

I have gone back to stock after trying your rom and N2Cs.

Nothing wrong with yours I just liked the stock theme for once. (amazing i know. )

Using the standard performance tweaks and upping the pagepool to 36mb makes the stock rom just about perfect. I will check yours out again after you make your changes although I do like the way the stock rom allows multiple file selection using the stylus.

uh... you do know that the multi select is still there right? you just have to select that you want that feature in the menu.

Anyone have trouble syncronizing with AS? I can't get it to sync. I keep getting the "USB Device not Recognized error". I tried uninstalling AS and reinstalling and no luck. I unchecked the enable advanced functionality too and no go.

Can someone tell me if Sprite Backup will successfully restore a newly flashed(hard reset) phone to the state it was prior to the flash/hard reset? I'm assuming it will restore the registry but then that doesn't do me much good because I'd be missing all the associated installed cabs. If sprite backup does this then I'd have no need to learn sashmi or whatever that program is.

My big issue is I've done the custom evdo/start/bluetooth etc icons, and I always put the sprint neon icons on, battery % fix and bmp cover, etc and just want to find a way to allow me to restore these with the least amount of headache everytime I flash a new rom. I find I flash new roms quite often with phones because I love to tinker.

I was having a problem with the kitchen (hesitation and slow motion when accessing programs after a keyboard slide out) so i decided to re-flash Jd's Rom. To my amazement i had the exact same problems. So then i re-flashed the stock Sprint Rom and all my problems went away. Is anyone else seeing these problems?

i use sprite each time i flash a new rom and it restores all my programs and settings and registry changes. i just make sure to pick merge level 1 and works perfectly.

Ok, so does that also mean it'll bring over edited manilla files and edited dll files from the windows folder? Where is the merge level 1 option? Is that an option during restore?

Sounds like this means it'll do a perfect backup, hmmm.

you can use sashimi to have it copy certain files over to whatever folder you want as well...like the icons, sprint neon icons, battery fix...its really quite simple. You put your cabs in the cab folder, the .reg's in the reg folder, the xml's in the xml folder, then in the root folder you say what directory you want the files to go. ie. /windows or /program files/sprite ...I would recommend checking it out...

Edit: I use it to bring over the edited manila files i use every time like for the clock opening klaxon, the calendar opening thumbcal and contacts opening icontact...sashimi copies over the files and it works..

Anyone have the picturemail.cab handy somewhere? After updating to this ROM release I am without picture mail. When attempting to visit the sprint.com software store to download it does not recognize my device as it has a custom ROM.

Anyone? I tried the one posted but its an older version, not the one you can download with latest fixes.

I tried that. I even went to a minute. For some reason, when I open up my dictionary, it changes back to the keyboard. Also , when I reply in the text messages it will change back sometimes.

I'm not sure if this is a bug from the rom, or because I installed clear clock and no curtains, but when i select the calendar from the home screen, it highlights but nothing happens. It just stays on the home screen and keeps the calendar option highlighted. Even if it shows an upcoming appointment, I'll press it once or twice and still nothing. anyone else experience this?

I don't believe so. It worked on the stock ROM, then I flashed with yours, checked it didn't work but I didn't pay much attention to it. I thought it might just be lagging behind etc. Installed the other things (wallpaper on every screen, clear clock, and no curtains) tried it again and still nothing.

Arent you contradicting yourself with the first two sentences? I'm a little confused....

Can you guys confirm that if you use the stock headset and hold down the answer button, voice command will not come up as it should? I suspect this is because JD changed the Hold send key to the camera instead. Im on a different rom now, but I missed being able to use the stock headset.

I don't think so. It worked with the stock ROM. I believe it didn't work after I put JD's ROM on, but I only tried it once then went on continuing to edit things. It 100% for sure doesn't work right now with JD's rom, clear clock, no curtains, and wallpaper on every screen installed.

Hope that helps
