JD i found a big problem for us texters, just go into a text message and the typing area is barrely showing at the bottom, it shows the message area, but where the typing area is you cant really see what you are typing because its super short.

That's a windows bug. You have to close the text messaging and then just reopen it.

I have that problem when I press "reply" to a text msg, then I simultaneously switch to Landscape. I have no idea why the bottom part shrinks like that.

You know I tried to fix messaging this evening and discovered that in the 20757 and 20931 tmail has a bug I switched tmail out with an older build and had the scrolling bug in emails fixed but that broke opening text messages so I tried to fix that bug was not successful and will not be spending anymore time on that issue so keep in mind I know about the messaging issues ..........

yea that doesnt work, its the window not the text, but somehow now its showing the full area, and would switch back to hiden every other time i reply.

I just installed the rom and I loved it until i ran into this problem... whenever i try to use the compact qwerty keyboard i get nothing but numbers. Can someone please pm me with a fix for this?

I'm having the same problem. Just confirmed. But I use pcm keyboard so it really doesn't bother me..

Just click on the link on the first page (from lilrico)....it has all of the stock cabs that have been removed at one time or another.....not everyone wants pic mail....and a lot of people run SomeguySMMS which is way better than the Sprint app and have no need for both apps...

But if JD wants to add it.......it is his ROM and can add anything he likes....but I think in a previous post he said he does not use it....

LOL i'm quoting myself...

I fixed it! i went to my diamond tweak program and turned off the auto keyboard option (it says it wont work with some roms) now it works perfectly!

Wow this rom is truly the best so far that i tried, and i used every single rom on hear so far, this is the snappiest, all my little texting flaws that i had a beggining of flashing this rom worked them selves out, and now its Great. Im still waiting at the end of the day to see how the battery life it on it.

its not that I do not want to add the picture mail cab its the whole legal thing behind it ... no2chem's site and I believe this on was asked to pull it down so I just don't add it because of that

great rom, really quick, i found another bug to add to the list though. If you click on a text message from touchflo it brings you to the threaded message with that person likes its supposed to, but if you slide open the keyboard, it closes and goes to that second menu with all those options like email, bookmarks ect. And you have to click on messages, then click on the conversation with that person again in order to text back, its kinda annoying, any quick fix for this?

Hmmm...ok then, well is this actually a bug with this rom that other people are experiencing as well or might it be caused by some other tweaks that I did because i have not seen anyone in this thread say anything about having this same issue.

Ok well i dont know what was going on, but I did a soft reset and now its staying in the message when i slide open the keyboard :shrugs:

I'm pretty sure the stock rom was not like it, when this was happening to me (it went away all of a sudden) if i was in any program and i slide open the keyboard to type something in, that second menu would pop up covering up whatever else I was doing. But now it went away so go figure.

I still have the stock ROM installed and I can tell you that it's not like that in the stock rom... what FoxRacer is saying is that if you a open threaded text message screen and then slide the keyboard open, it goes back to the default landscape screen (with the Email, Messages, Bookmarks, etc in two rows of 4 icons).

Mine has done that too on a multitude of ROMS, even stock. It turns out that sometimes you are just sliding the keyboard out a little too quickly after pressing reply, if you give it a second or too to load the messaging screen, it won't happen.

Yup that is exactly what i'm talking about. Now my phone is doing it again, and it doesnt matter how long i let it wait after i load up the message, it will still go to that landscape screen with all those options.

I actually dont have any of the bugs that are listed...
texting will go from being open regular to landscape (sliding keyboard out) and i dont have to go through icon screen. nor do i have the problem with the compact qwerty...

Hey JD, i dont know if this is just on my phone or is it the rom, push down the button volume key button, on mine it just keeps blinking and will not turn down the volume you have to use your finger on the screen to turn it down but the volume key will not work.

Any help here would be appreciated. I unlocked the phone and flashed with the most recent version of JD's ROM. It is working amazingly fast. I can't find pic mail anywhere though. I read the release notes, and swore it was in there,but maybe i am mistaken. I tried to download various versions of it, but they either did not install correctly or if they did, they required contacts to have email addresses. Can someone point me in the right direction to get a proper pic mail version on here after JD's Rom flash. Or possibly direct me to a similar rom of version of JD's that contains pic mail? Thanks guys.
