This is a Sprint branded (and Sprint service), Touch Pro.
You have a pro 2 this is for pro 1.. sorry budd wont work out for you thats why theirs issues

Thanks... no, my phone is a Pro 1, not Pro 2.

Actually, it may have something to do with the activation process at Sprint. After leaving it for a while last night, the dial pad started to appear. Odd... but hopeful. I'll keep you posted.
