And with changing the theme the conventional way being so tricky with these latest builds messing up the start menu, this way you can update it without any worries.

I installed the two cabs you posted; the menu fix and then the navigation to dusk cab. First, it made my task bars etc light grey instead of black like they originally were. Secondly, now my phone doesn't connect to data. When I check the setting where it says data network the #777 is missing. If I reflash the whole rom again will my data settings be corrected? I can live without the menu correction if it shuts off my data connection.....

no need to reflash, a simple "hard reset" or "wipe device" will set you back to original rom state.

have you tried simply uninstalling the cabs you think are the problem?

Is there a working link to the available ROMs from SKI that I can download for now? I am hearing great things about his ROM and would like to give it a spin. Thanks!

Never heard of wipe device before...I can hard reset by just pulling the battery, correct? The only 2 things added to my phone today were the menu fix and navigation to dusk cabs that livingextreme posted, phone was fine before then...

EDIT: tried hard reset, still no data network #777 and task bars are still grey.......

It must've been an operator issue (MOI!). Many thanks!

There are different terms for "rest" depending on what manufacturer the device is from.
BB used to say a hard reset was pulling the battery because it required physical removal of the battery.
They called what we know as a hard reset as a "master reset".
Soft reset is the same for all devices. Power off and on device.

So what we mean on these devices as a hard reset is returning the device to factory settings/rom default.
Pulling the battery will not "hard reset" these devices.
You have to reflash or choose wipe device from the device settings.

Mine just decided to hard reset itself, don't you hate it when that happens?
