Also, how do I remove the weather location that was found automatically with the location service? Ane yes, I did use the "Remove Location" option from the menu key and the location that appears on the homescreen with the clock is not listed. I removed all of the locations and added my local one. My local one is the only one listed for removal.

Thanks!!
For the quick launch, I'm not sure I understand correctly but if you scroll up or down on the homepage I think you will get what you want. One way it will be the MaxManila options and other way the quick launch icons.

I am not sure that you can delete the location automatically detected but on the home page, you can click on the time and select your local in the list of locations instead of my location. Doing that, it is the weather of your local that will appear on the homescreen. That's what I did on my side.

Hope that helps.

OK. If, from the homescreen, I drag my finger bottom-up I get a screen a screen like this with 12 links that I can define with a program, contact or bookmark. Is this also working on your side?

-opera beta was very laggy when typing and loading.
it didn't want to display some pages so I ended up installing opera mobile 10, which is really nice, except it's lags with this rom and I lost the ability to zoom gradually with the center button
-in the sms screen, no menu button shows up, but if I click in the spot where it should be, the menu screen shows up. When I open up the 'start/windows' menu, just a black square shows up where the back arrow should be.
-FN-SYM buttons don't open a browser like they should. (possibly because Im not using 'opera 10 beta' as the default anymore?)
-Or if using a drop down menu, I can no longer type 'e' and take me to the 'e' section of the drop menu.
-more than a dozen times a day, when going to the home screen from a browser, or sms screen, it seems to lag alot, sometimes it almost freezes while showing part of one screen and part of the home menu.

I flashed from a stock rom to this rom, btw. I did hard reset after flashing. The only other thing I was going to try was the 'flash dance' as a last resort.

I was running empi-rom before, which I liked and had read that alot of people went to this rom from it and were happy. Again, I think this rom is good over all, I really like the battery life, it looks nice, it's smooth and quick.
Thanks for the rom!
What ROM and Build are you using?

Flip up on the home tab to reveal the quicklaunch tab.

Hey guys, just wondering if "SKI-ROM_MaxDusk_123009.7z" is 2.1 or 2.5. And if I wanted to flash a 2.1 ROM and then load Max Manila (like ahuskins suggested), how would I do that?

MaxDusk and Standard are Manila 2.5.

The MaxManila mod is a Manila 2.5 mod. Dont know that'll work with 2.1. IMO I doubt it.
As far as ahuskins suggestion, do you mean this post:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=445

In it he's suggesting to add the mod to the Standard ROM (2.5), havent seen him say anything about adding it to Sense 2.1.
Hope that helps.

Aye, okay! I've been using indagroove's ROM for a while, but it's become too slow for my liking. Would Standard + Max Manila be any faster, or should I just go with 2.1?

That's what I use and I'm really happy with this. For me, it is faster then what I tried before but I never tried indagroove so I can't compare with it.
I think that Sense 2.1 should be faster but I prefer to have something newer.

+1 for sense 2.1 from a former indagroove user.

Awesome! Are you on roots or ahuskin's 2.1 ROM?
