Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM Build 011010 CE OS 5.2.28011 M2.5/M2.1 - Sashimi Compliant

This latest release you can no longer mute the ring by pressing the volume buttons on the side of the phone. It looks like you can't mute the ring period?

This is a QuickMenu question- does anyone know how to configure it so it shows long menus as one long scrolling menu instead of having the "More..." option?

Thanks-
Jason

You must be running Max Dusk!? I noticed that too! His 2.1 version worked fine that way.

go into the quck menu settings & on the "view" tab change Menu Item Edge to something smaller than 20. it takes away a little bit of the finger friendly aspect, but less scrolling is needed. i'd recommend finding the setting you prefer in between 10 & 20

I'm running the Standard version (same as Max Dusk minus the fancy look) with Max manila 2.5 installed. Gone is the WinMo volume control (back to HTC style), but no more ability to mute calls.

I am going to run a quick test on the 1230 rom again but I can't seem to find the culprit and I am getting really bug eyed! PLEASE help. Anyone got this issue?

Oh and I did use the Sashimi edit posted earlier on but it didn't seem to help.
I installed the Sense2.1 01.10 build last night and I agree that Sashimi is not behaving the same as before. Cabs install just fine but some scripts like "automate PIMBackup restore" doesn't work right. For the meantime, I manually run all my scripts. There were some issues mentioned earlier about things not installing on the SD but IMO you shouldn't have to keep reinstalling things to the SD. Try a search in this thread for "sashimi fix".

EDIT: I finally got around to reinstalling the cabs that were provided by livingextreme. I just wanted to let everyone know that all three installed flawlessly and did exactly what he said they would! Whatever happened to my data connection obviously wasn't related to the installation of these cabs, may have been something that I unknowingly did or just some glitch during my flashing process....great work man, hope you have other tweaks in the skillet!

OK... Will flash the newest build tonight when I will be back home. That's bad if it is true for the gmail sync. All my emails are with gmail... Will see how the sync goes and if I can find a fix. That's a thing I really need to be working.
