It will take some setting up to make it work.
That is the new version as well.
If I update the rom it will have that version or newer.
The version I cooked in is a version or two below that one because I found it in another thread before I found the original.

It is on build 21889.
I will re-cook it and change it to build 23518 and see if that helps.
Ran it all day here and it seemed fine though.

Is there a cab somewhere to the 6.5.x color taskbar icons that appear in the screenshots from post #1, and are available in RootRom / RootRomCombo, but not in the Max* editions?

I've got a cab for gadgetfreak's cdms round color 6.5.x taskbar, which has nearly the same feel, but I really would like to be able to get the RootRom icons on a MaxDusk build. Are those a rootlinux customization, or did they come from another contributor somewhere?

That taskbar is called Misfortune2 and it is not of my design.
I only have it as a chef package and no cab.
If you look for it I am sure you can find it.

While it was stated removing apps does nothing for memory, it depends on the app.
Some apps load at boot time.
Some apps stay running in memory.
Removing those will save memory.

There are other reasons to trim a rom but eh,

Sweet!! I will surely give this a go this weekend... as I said before the previous ran very good but having all the "trimmings" (so to say) just killed it for us Verizon users... I'll post on how it work (for me at least) when I flash... Thanks root for all the awesome work and keeping us original TP users in the now!!
