I would just like voice my appreciation; no problems for me, so far. I haven't really done much either, though, but no obvious problems. Thanks for all your work that goes into these ROMs!

I would like to say thanks as well. The rom runs very well. I also so the installer that you have to put widgets back in. I was getting ready to push the tv and ringtone trimmer until I saw that. You have made things very easy and user friendly. Job well done!!!

Re: [ROM] 11/23/09-0.6 | fresh rom | All known issues resolved

So before I flashed my hero to fresh.6 (plus other tweaks) I raced (comparing the speed of different functions across both devices) my brothers Moment and then I flashed and raced again and there was a noticable difference which is great visual proof of how great this Rom is.... but the Moment was still faster. Should we expect more (substantial) increases speed with future roms? Updates from sprint? 2.0? Or is our processor maxed out and we will only see small gains?

Those of you with fresh+apps2sd, is It worth it (the work of setting apps2sd up)? Honestly is there a NOTICEABLE, SIGNIFICANT increase in speed?

I can't help but wonder will 2.0 speed us up or slow us down

Moment has a faster processor as you know. The moment should be faster, but 2.0 should make the Hero faster, as google goes up with android they are supposed to also make it faster! Huge change from winmo!!

Damn your quick with the replies fam! Lol

But yeah I know theres a faster processor so thats why Im wondering where ours will max out speed wise. Or will chefs be able to keep pushing it with noticable gains.

As far as 2.0 that's good I think I am definitely tainted by winmo, because that's exactly what I was thinking of. I was worried the update would come at the cost of speed and stability.

Edit: oh yeah and any opinion on moving apps to sd and noticeable speed boost?

Re: [ROM] 11/23/09-0.6 | fresh rom | All known issues resolved

I use the apps2sd feature and love it. First I have to say that the fresh Rom has already done all the work. All you have to do is partition the sd from recovery and the system does the rest on the next boot. Now as for speed... no I would not say that It Is faster. I don't use it for that reason but rather so I don't have to think twice about the space a new application might take. For that it is very worth It to me. But opinions vary.

Re: [ROM] 11/23/09-0.6 | fresh rom | All known issues resolved

It is nice to know that the features are there if needed. I have all the apps I need already installed and have maximized the microSD space to hold my mp3's and mp'4's so I don't have a need for apps2sd. Perhaps later when I have more to install I will look at a second card for my media but as I said it is nice to have the option there already. On a general note, this was a much easier flashing experience for me than any of the winmo flashes that I did.
