Re: [ROM] 11/23/09-0.6 | fresh rom | All known issues resolved

Thanks for this ROM and your continue work to make it what it has become and even still better in the future. I have now been using .6 for about 15 hours and have ZERO complaints. (And, thanks for allowing me the honor of my trivial contribution to the effort.)

I know that not everyone wishes to go to this much work but this is the process I follow each time I change ROMs.

1. Backup anything I care about.
2. Boot to Recovery and Connect PC with USB ON.
3. Clear extra files on FAT32.
4. Copy new ROM Image to FAT32.
5. Wipe EXT SD Partition (yes I use Apps2SD).
6. Nandroid Recovery to Stock just after Root.
7. Factory Reset/Wipe Data/Cache Partitions.
8. Flash new Image.
9. Boot into Main OS.
10. Basic Google/Facebook setup.
11. Push Voice Recorder and Sprint TV back to phone.
12. Basic Settings and Download/Install about 30+ Market Apps

Phone runs fast, all features I use (or have otherwise tested) work fine, and I see all the applications that I have searched for in the Market including many that I did not see from other Sprint Updated ROMs that I have tried (this includes a purchased application and several free applications that didn't show on the other updated ROMs).

He makes sure that device is SPrint ready. That is what we call a clean install. I clean mine out well , but wow you do it even deeper. keeps it running smooth im sure. Also De fragmenting your Sd card helps speed it up as well

Hey sounds like you are like me and worry about leaving and remnants on the phone from previous mods/hacks. Anyways, could you give me directions on how to reinstall Voice Recorder back on my phone, I know it's not included in this Fresh Rom, and I use it every day. Thank you!

Exclamation Re: [ROM] 11/23/09-0.6 | fresh rom | All known issues resolved

Does this ROM fix the wake time issues? Are people with rooted roms seeing normal wake times? 10-40% as opposed to the 100% wake times?

I am not rooted but I have updated to the latest firmware. My wake time has been 100% since after the update.
