I am not having the sound issue. been running fresh 2.1.2 for a week now. would there happen to be a common app everyone is running that could cause the problem? It doesn't make sense why this would happen to some and not everyone running the rom.

agreed, no issues here, could it be different internals? i know some phones don't say "with google" on the back, mine does...?

Thats a good point!
Also usually i do not get the sound problem for a few days, then it is several times a day. It makes no sense but i rarely use Google navigation, but seems to happen after i have used that, anyone else notice that? Maybe i should try the stock and see if i have it there too.

Does anyone know where I can download the Water Live Wallpaper that comes default on the new Sprint HTC EVO? I would like to use on my Fresh ROM 2.1.2 Hero.

well i no longer need my exchange account on this phone, so i'm going to retry this rom, i'll report back with my findings!

So far so good, other than i cant get things like godzson's black clock and clear lock screen to work, seems those are only for 1.5 and 2.0b, but I'm definitely ok without those for now, much rather have 2.1!

so what is the general consensus on this rom? I just snapped a Hero to mess around with, and looking for some customizations.

if you want 2.1 and keep your root, this is the way to go, although we have found that if you have to sync with a secure exchange server there are often issues while booting! enjoy!

(beautiful thing about the ROMS are that you can easily switch between them by flashing new ones trying one until you find the one that suits you best!)

i just flashed choco's rom and its working great so far. Im not new to flashing, just new to flashing on Android. I have a TP2 also, and its flash madness with that thing! haha.

anyone have an issue with OTA updates? I can' update my prl or even check for updates...I get a force close every time. I just reinstalled this rom. after a month of very little problems, virtually every app would cause my phone to crash and reboot. so far they are working, but still can't update prl without a fc
