So, I reapplied the Evil Transparent lock screen (via the recovery menu), and it reverted the taskbar to the stock one. Is there any way to have only the specific theme applied? IE, keep FreshROM 1.1 as is and only change the taskbar?

I posted it in Setix's taskbar thread and no one seems to know how to do so (yet).
The reason that happened is because parts of the lockscreen, the taskbar, and the notification menu are all contained in the framework. So when you flash one, it is going to replace the others every time. I have a plan worked out in my head for the kitchen on how to get around that and build your own custom framework with whatever pieces and parts you want... but it's just not there yet. It would also require theme makers like setix to make their theme in a special way. So it would require them to do extra work, but would allow you to modify it exactly the way you want.

I think when he says "mount" he means your phone needs to connected via usb but I dont think youre supposed to select "usb connected" in your notification bar. Could be wrong, but you might want to try it that way....

Sweet! I think I may be catching on! While I got you I have a quick question. On all previous versions of Fresh rom when making changes to scenes after the option to save if you entered the same scene name it gave you the option to overwrite. It doesnt give that option anymore and I was wondering if thats a side effect of other changes or was it just removed? And if so is there a way to get it back via kitchen or something?

Hrm. I haven't made any changes at all that should cause that. I'll look in to it.

Thanks! It's no biggie, just noticed it cause I change up my scenes a lot and it saves the extra step of having to go into settings and delete the old scene manually. I know youre a busy man always working to improve our over all Hero experience! And for that I thank you!

Thanks for the response re: the framework / taskbar issues. I guess I'll sit tight for now.

I think you should incorporate a way to select all the changes you want (theme, bootscreen, reload apps, clear cache) and THEN have the phone reboot and apply all the changes at once.

Also, not a single time i have tried has a re-injection of stock apps worked. It says it was successful but they never show up on my phone.

That is the ultimate concept of the kitchen. Basically I am getting all the code in there... getting each individual concept working. Then the end product is combining all of those things in to one product that walks you through the process of making a nice custom rom for yourself. It's coming.

I'll check out the app installer not working. Are there any in particular you tried that didn't work, or did you try them all? I tested with peep and footprints before I released.
