Thanks for. This rom.... I'm in love again

Ok, I reflashed it again (two times now) and it seems better. Hopefully it'll stay that way and not give me any more problems, as this is my favorite ROM.

Okay, I had the problem again. It just turned off while I was using Slacker Radio and started boot looping. Removed the battery, powered on, and we're back to square one. Will continue posting when it happens and more details as I can.

Note: The developer should look into this as I am not the only one with the problem. As I said, I have re-flashed it twice now and I'm sure the download isn't corrupted since the MD5 matched the original download's MD5; no problems in that department. Again, I am using OMJ EVO 2.3.3 Gingerbread Sense 2.1 deodexed v2.0-signed and Freedom v0.8 UNIVERSAL-signed kernel. I don't think it's the kernel but I will flash another one and test it if this fresh install continues to randomly crash and boot-loop.

Thanks.

Thanks.
A full wipe (if using Amon-RA) is wiping everything except sd card.

Thanks for the technicality.

Updated my kernel and re-flashed. Seems to be working so far.

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.3.3 Custom ROMs | GingerBread 4.24.651.1 | *Updated 7/2/11*

Is it possible to get those Power Widget buttons in the status pull down menu again, like there was with the OMJ's Froyo 4.6? I realize there is the quick settings tab in the pull down, but that just isn't as quick.

Those power widget buttons were awesome and EXTREMELY convenient. I've been looking for an app that would do the same thing as those buttons but I'm not having any luck...

Oh and thanks OMJ for these awesome builds!

Your version of gingerbread made me fall in love with my evo all over again

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.3.3 Custom ROMs | GingerBread 4.24.651.1 | *Updated 7/2/11*

Guys please help!

I just got a Evo4G replacement from insurance. I rooted it with the Revolutionary and it went perfectly. I then installed this ROM. Now when I boot up phone, EVERYTHING forcecloses. and I can't use the phone because it's one FC after another.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have an evo then your on Sprint. Sprint didn't throttle or cap any data. Also the evo doesn't have anything built into phone that will slow down the speed.

Re: [FINAL] OMJ's HTC EVO 2.3.3 Custom ROMs | GingerBread 4.24.651.1 | *Updated 7/2/1

I really hate to see the rom being dropped, but it's a good one. I've been using it as a daily ROM now for over a month. I'm loving it. Thanks for all the hard work you've put in on this.

Good luck with your future endeavors with new toys ...

Download rom manager from the market and run the fix permissions tool.
