Thanx, I was able to export it to my sd card and edit the file with my pc. All good now and testing.

Yes had this issue as well.

ALSO, is anyone here using Go Launcher? I'm experiencing serious lag after flashing this and when I go into apps the icons are always restoring themselves.

Otherwise, ROM is rock solid.

Has anyone been having problems with the htc sense restarting several times when switching between apps or just exiting an app? Sorry if its been talked about before. Just point me in the right direction. thanks

This rom is based off of amikam Mik1.0 rom so they have supposedly fixed this bug. Here is the thread if you would like to try the fix. Good luck.

Read the post before yours... It is just a matter of adding a line to the build.prop file

Can you (or anybody) please install Golf Logix from the market and tell me if it kills data and cell svc when u run the app? ... Don't worry it comes right back after a hot restart. Other than my issue with that particular website I mentioned this rom is rock solid and fast as hell !

Edit: This was one of the other issues I was testing with stock rom. The app runs on all urs and Mik's Froyo builds and on the stock GB release ... So I'm wondering if there is something in the rom that is somehow identifying to the app that it is a Shift rather than an EVO since it is a port? I've ran all kinds of tests, diff roms, downgraded and upgraded radios, spoke with the developer (they say it works fine on GB which it does since it runs on the new release) and am about to pull my hair out ... The app is written for each specific device which is why I mentioned the part about something in the rom somehow making it think it's a Shift rather than an EVO? Ugh!

I already tried this and sense still restarts. I guess I will wait and see what happens. I will have to see what program itself is causing this and reinstall that program. Thanks for all the help guys. So far I'm loving this new updated omj gingerbread. Almost makes me not want to sell my evo to get the evo3d. Almost.

The only remaining problem that I have is when trying to run Spare Parts, everything runs ok, EXCEPT when I click on Battery History, then immediately I get a FC....

Is this a known issue?

Just flashed v1.6 and I just lost root.... is this common? I still have recovery. I wipe data/restore, cache, and then flash Calkulin's_FORMAT_ALL.zip - then flash OMJs stuff. This time, after flashing OMJ, it said "Install from sdcard complete.", but it was frozen. So I had to perform a battery pull. Reflashing as we speak. - Same problem *sigh*. I guess I can run without root for now (can't restore anything).

EDIT: Arright, after flashing a couple of times, I got root back - yay.

So I used MyBackup Root for the first time. Great program. He was able to restore my apps along with call logs, home screen, etc. It set everything up from GMail and Mail application.

Now onto some weird issue - GMail works perfectly, but I can't seem to be able to add any accounts into the Mail application. (neither exchange nor IMAP). Keeps getting rejected as bad password / invalid credentials.
