Re: [3-31-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc7][STABLE-ISM]

The old ROM was great, the new one is even better, thanks Deck. New theme, fixes... the whole thing rocks. GPS fix seems to have worked for me as well.

Only one request... any chance i could beg for some Swype?? It's a small file and it's the only thing i miss from 2.2. I cant find a working build, and even though i've got my account for the beta it doesnt work with gingerbread.

In any case, thanks again for the great work. Made a small donation on this one, hope everyone else does as well. WOOOHOOOOO for Deck and RC7!!!!

I've been using swype the whole time. It works great the new Beta is much better than the one included in Froyo. Now if I could only find a contacts app that supports my groups and Deck why did you leave out voicemail. It worked just fine with the fix

Re: [3-31-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc7][STABLE-ISM]

When I tried to update the rom to RC6 or RC7 from RC2 I also flashed the updated GAPPS. After I completed the install it would not go to the google setup after booting up. I just flashed RC7 with the GAPPS from 03062011 (I think that's the date) and it looks like everything is all good. There might be an issue with the current gapps.zip.

Re: [3-31-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [rc7][STABLE-ISM]

Still not getting good results with GPS. I wish I could get that working plus anyone know of a good app for the contacts that includes the groups and stuff. I love Gingerbread but I do miss a few of the sense things but I can't beat the battery life. Has anyone been able to find a wifi tether app that works. I understand that the wireless hotspot is included but for some reason I can't use both the hotspot and my bluetooth. I'm getting too much interference I guess between wifi and bluetooth

I noticed this too when I chose the theme...however, it reappeared after I rebooted, don't know if this worked for anyone else...

After you choose the theme from Theme Manager. Do a hot restart or hboot and the theme will stick and you will have the power widgets

Check under Advanced settings>Input>Volume button music control. It doesn't happen anymore but originally it seemed to only work with the stock music app, so when listening to pandora if activated it would open Music and jump to the next track, causing both to play at the same time.
